Pricing and availability

Nearly every single in the shop is a one-off, so stock can disappear between you adding it to the cart and reaching checkout. If that happens we'll tell you before taking payment. Prices move with the market and can change without notice, but the price you were charged at checkout is the price — we never bill more afterwards.

If something is listed at an obviously wrong price — a decimal point in the wrong place — we may cancel and refund that order rather than honour it. We'll always contact you first, and it'll be an apology rather than a form letter.

Orders and pickup

An order is accepted when we confirm it, not when you submit it. Pickup reservations are held for 48 hours and then returned to stock — call us and we'll extend it rather than lose the sale. Nothing is charged on a pickup reservation until you collect.

Condition

Raw cards are graded against the standard set out in our grading guide. Grading involves human judgement, so if you disagree with ours the item is returnable under our returns policy, with return postage on us.

Graded slabs are sold as authenticated by the grader named on the label. We publish every cert number so you can verify it yourself before buying. We do not guarantee that any card would receive a particular grade if resubmitted — nobody can.

Buylist submissions

A quote is an offer, not a contract, and it's valid for seven days. It assumes the cards match what you described — final pricing happens once we have them in hand and can see the condition. If they don't match, we'll requote rather than quietly pay less, and if you'd rather have them back we'll send them back.

Events

One signup per person. Entry fees are paid at the counter and are refundable up until the event starts. We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave for harassment, cheating, or making the shop unpleasant for other people — this is not a technicality, we will use it, and no refund is owed in that case.

Events run to the published format and rules. Where an event is sanctioned by a game publisher, their tournament rules take precedence over anything on this page.

Intellectual property

Card names, images, set symbols and game rules are the property of their respective publishers. We are an independent retailer and are not endorsed by, affiliated with, or sponsored by any of them.

Liability

Our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it. We're not liable for indirect losses — including any change in a card's market value after you buy it. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force for your order is the one published when you placed it.
