Events

Events describe in-store activities such as league nights, trade nights, tournaments, and clinics. They are operational records, not generic catalog products.

Create and publish an event

  1. 1

    Set the schedule and capacity

Use the real local date, time, location, seat limit, and registration deadline.

  2. 2

    Describe what attendees need

Explain the format, entry requirements, included products or prizes, and cancellation expectations.

  3. 3

    Confirm fee tax treatment

Event fees can have different tax treatment from merchandise. Use the configured effective tax code instead of assuming.

  4. 4

    Publish early and consistently

A predictable calendar helps customers plan and gives staff time to prepare.

Manage registrations

Open the event to see the current registrant list and capacity. Use the source registration record when resolving a customer question.

Still unsure?

Pause before posting, approving, refunding, or moving money. Ask the owner or the role responsible for that workflow to review the source record with you.

This guide explains software workflows only. It is not legal, tax, accounting, payroll, employment, or security advice. Requirements and provider availability can change; confirm current obligations with the relevant agency and qualified professionals.
